Designs to Make the Sale
Everywhere you look there are real estate signs from any number of a never-ending supply of companies and individual brokers. With high industry saturation, it becomes critically important that the individual agent or agency act to set themselves apart from the rest of the pack. Nothing will get an agent recognition like a strong and memorable logo. A great logo design can help an agent or agency stand apart from the masses, making a good impression on the clients and helping drive business.
So, what makes a great real estate logo design? The following are key factors for real estate specialists to consider when picking out the perfect logo:
Avoid the Picture as Your Calling Card. In the past, it has been popular for agents to use their own personal picture next to a smaller, lack-luster design to represent their real-state business. While this is great to get your face out there, it has become outdated. Focus instead on a memorable logo and save your pictures for your website when clients want to know more about you and your company.

Our design for Suzanne Taylor included increasing the size of her icon, adding more color, bolder fonts and spot treating specific areas with raised ink.
Structure Logos Might Not be an Appropriate Choice. Companies and agents who have steered away from the personal pictures have adopted the next over-used graphic to represent them: structure logos (think pictures or designs of a house or building). This type of logo is heavily used, so if you are thinking of using a structure for your logo, consider using brighter, contrasting colors or a bold design. On this page, see how we implied a house structure in the logo concepts for the Worland Group.
Don’t Rule Out Initials. A good solid logo design doesn’t have to be all image. Using your initials, if a single agent or smaller agency, can give the right touch of professional sophistication. With the right stylized font and snappy colors, your initials can stand out, look great and what’s best, they won’t look outdated in a few years.
Bold or Subtle: Make it Represent You. Going for the bright and bold logo, or choosing a more quiet and sophisticated look is completely up to you or your company. The most important thing to remember is to choose a design that represents who you are. Don’t simply choose a design because it’s trendy, choose one that will represent you or your company best.
A great logo will set you or your agency apart from others. Take the time, do the homework and make the best choice for your logo.
